HOSA Students Compete
The HOSA students stand proudly with their HOSA flag. Featured on the main page were the four HOSA medalists.

Twenty-one members of CATA's HOSA club attended the 2012 North Carolina State HOSA Conference on March 29-31, 2012. Nineteen students competed in various medical events, and Abby Fincher and Carley Moore served as pages. Of the nineteen competitors, sixteen made it to the final round of competitions! 

The competitors included Bekah Bellai and Sydney Spangler (Medical Terminology), Anna Bishop and Denai Mushonga (Forensics), Stacie Helms (Concepts of Health Care), Sara Newman (Pathophysiology), Katie Robinson (Nursing Assisting).  

In addition, the following students made it onto stage as top 10 finalists during the award ceremony:
Alyson Helms, top 10 in Concepts of Health Care (exact standing not yet known due to computer issues);

Haley Rognstad, top 10 in Pathophysiology (exact standing not yet known due to computer issues);

Kaley Kirby, Eshan Patel, and Ben Robinson 8th place in Medical Reading;

Chase Oxendine, 9th place Biotechnology;

Jeet Patel, 8th place Biotechnology;

Ellie Wilson, 4th place Biotechnology;

Matthew Stegall, 2nd place Medical Math;

Colbi Diggs, 2nd place Concepts of Health Care;

Alex Leitner and Bekah Randall, 2nd place CPR/First Aid

Our four second-place medalists have qualified to compete in the 2012 National HOSA Conference in Orlando, Florida on June 20-23!!

Congratulations HOSA!!
